Painting Party

As I was browsing Pinterest today, I found THE cutest idea.

I saw a pin for a Painting Party from the blog JandJHome.

The birthday party featured pint-sized canvas boards that each child painted to their heart’s content.

It’s precious isn’t it?

I can see this activity used in so many ways.

Have a white wall in your house that needs a pop of color? This could be a great rainy day activity that parents and kids could complete together to create new artwork for the home.

Teachers could integrate this activity into their lesson plans. A unit on the solar system could be brought to life on the classroom wall. Each student could help paint a planet on canvas and then it could be displayed. Using the artwork, the teacher could then build additional lesson activities around the images.

You can even change out the materials. Photo canvas learning boards would be amazing. So many possibilities!
